This weekend I got together with some family at my Mom’s house to start planning our Holiday Baking. We’ve learned that if you don’t plan ahead of time and purchase what you need early, it can be REALLY difficult to find the cookie cutters and embellishments you want. This year we got a jump on the process and I made some tasty Coffee Punch to enjoy while planning.

This punch is great for parties, baby showers, bridal showers, Holiday get-togethers, book clubs, bible studies, and any other event where coffee drinkers are gathered together for fun, fun, fun.

What you need…
6 cups of your favorite STRONG brewed coffee, cooled
2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
12 oz. (1 conatainer) Cool Whip or homemade whipped crème
2 quarts of vanilla ice cream (Spoon this on top to preference)
Sprinkle mixture of cinnamon and sugar
The Night Before Your Event
Make 6 cups of your favorite STRONG coffee. Mix in sugar and vanilla and set to chill overnight in your fridge.
Day of Event
Remove vanilla ice cream from freezer and allow it to begin to soften while you prepare the rest of the punch.
Mix milk with chilled coffee mixture and pour all contents into punch bowl. Blend in Cool Whip with a whisk until smoothe and frothy. Gently spoon in large, thin, disk-like pieces of vanilla ice cream to float on top of punch. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Leave shaker of cinnamon-sugar mixture available for guests who prefer a sweeter coffee drink, to add more individually.
Serves 15 generously.

Enjoy!

since I sort of kind of like coffee, I think I’ll give this a try at our christmas party. Will have to go decaf though for Sar
Mmmmmmm… Yes! Decaf works just as well and is great for Baby Showers and get-togethers with those Blessed expecting Mommas. Just make sure the coffee is still STRONG in taste!!! And yeah… I kinda, sorta knew you liked coffee.
