Well…I made these. My red velvet cupcakes sank, I’m not sure why. And I couldn’t get my icing as smooth as yours appears. But other than that, they came out fine! Tasted yummy! Got lots of compliments on both taste and appearance! And Michelle, I found that making your own sugar just doesn’t have the same sparkle as the stuff you can buy in the store but it works none the less.

WOW these look fantastic! I had a hard time trying to find matching sugar sprinkles. I have now found that you can color you own to match you icing. I can’t wait to make these! Thanks for the good ideas!

These are absolutely gorgeous! And thank you for passing along the idea of piping the batter into the cupcake paper cups! Brilliant! That is a tip that I will forever be using. Great pictures too.
