I LOVE the name Aidan for a boy but I didn’t use it only because it’s too popular. I kinda had problems as a kid with having a name at least 1/3 of the other kids in my sunday school class had. It drove me nuts to be called “Number 4″ instead of my real name so I try to avoid naming my kids names that are on the “Top Baby Names” lists. But on the flip side I am not too fond of over the top made up names either. Some made up names are nice but many sound forced or dorky or sound like something that means something naughty. Kinda hard to find a middle ground. :/
